Gracie Barra Artarmon’s Women’s Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes offer a safe and empowering space to build self-defense skills, fitness, and confidence. Perfect for all ages and skill levels, join our supportive community and train with experienced instructors.

At Gracie Barra Artarmon, we offer a wide range of classes through the Gracie Barra Adults Program, as well as dedicated self-defense training for both men and women. Our Women’s Self-Defense Program is designed to introduce women to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as an empowering way to protect themselves. Women have the option to train in women-only classes, creating a comfortable learning environment. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is ideal for self-defense because it teaches the principles of using leverage and technique to overcome a stronger opponent, making it perfect for women seeking to build confidence and learn how to defend themselves effectively.

The Gracie Barra Women’s Program at Artarmon offers a complete self-defense curriculum, focusing on real-world scenarios with drills that simulate a potential attack and escape situations. These techniques are enhanced with a strong fitness component that goes beyond what typical gyms provide. Our classes are designed for women of all ages, including rape prevention, BJJ conditioning, and even social events to foster camaraderie among our "Gracie Barra Pink Team" members.

Join us at Gracie Barra Artarmon for world-class Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training, and become part of our supportive community where we live by the motto:

“A black belt is a white belt who never quits.”
– Carlos Gracie Jr.
